Asking well

KIplatz is an AI that asks back instead of guessing. You say it the way you would say it to a person, and it gets the rest itself.

The question and everything that goes with it

A prompt is the question to an AI together with everything it needs to know for a good answer. It does not train an AI; the training is long over when you ask. It only steers this one answer: for whom, for what, by when, in what tone.

Whoever says all that gets better answers. But you forget exactly the things you do not think of. That is why the follow-up question is already built into the program.

Follow-up questions instead of guessing

If you ask for a plan, a recommendation or a letter, the AI first checks whether something important is missing. If so, it asks at most 2 short questions. If you have already said everything, it gets started right away.

For invoices, offers, orders, quotes and delivery notes, the program knows the details required in Austria and asks for them before it writes. It checks the sums in them itself. If you do not want to add anything more, write “weiter” (go on) or “egal” (never mind): every open detail then stays as a line to fill in.

Let your request be completed

  1. Write your request in the input field, as short as you like.
  2. Next to the field, click “Frage vervollständigen” (complete question).
  3. KIplatz writes it out in full, with gaps in square brackets for everything you still need to add.
  4. Fill in the gaps and send.

Good to know

Nothing is made up in the process. What you did not say stays a gap.

For whom, for what, by when

What belongs in itFor example
For whomjust for you, for the family, for customers
For whatwhat should come out in the end
Frameby when, how long, how much money
Tonefactual, friendly, short
What is fixedand what must not happen under any circumstances

Say it once, then it knows

At the first start, KIplatz asks 3 questions: what it should call you, where you live and what you mainly need it for. Name and place go into the memory on your PC, so you never have to say again that you live in Gmunden. What you tap under “what for” becomes your My AI, and that is also where you set how KIplatz should answer.

On these topics, your PC collects knowledge from the shared storage in its spare time and keeps it privately with you. If another PC answers for you, it does not get these excerpts.

What you need often, you write down once as a skill, a short set of instructions for the AI. 10 templates for everyday life are ready, from a letter to the authorities to a shopping list. How that works is under Create skills.

Tip

Ask a question, press “Frage vervollständigen” and see what else KIplatz wanted to know.
