Who we are

A community from the German-speaking countries: members who let their PCs help, report mistakes and build. Based in Upper Austria, server in Vienna. No corporation, no advertising.

What we do this for

With the big providers every question ends up in a data centre, and nobody can change anything when something bothers them. We want to show that it can be done differently: an AI that runs on its members' computers, whose questions stay in Vienna, and where every report gets an answer and a name. Instead of a data centre, we are many. Our home ground is the German-speaking world, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, with English as the second language.

How we work

Small steps, every day, and every page says what is built and what is missing. What we cannot measure, we do not claim. Decisions are recorded with a date, and what the first members report comes first.

Where we stand

Running since September 2026 with the first devices. The forum has been open since 21 September 2026, the workshop is being set up. Legal entity and the licence for the source code are settled with a lawyer before we open; the KIplatz trademark is filed beforehand.
