Who is here, and where do we talk?
The forum at forum.kiplatz.at has been open since 21 September 2026, in German and English. The workshop for building follows, with the same account.
Here you are somebody
With the big providers you are a number: if something bothers you, you can write to support and hope. Here every report gets an answer and a name. Whoever reports a mistake sees what becomes of it. Whoever computes for others is listed in the program's leaderboard.
Rules that apply from day one
- "Thanks" instead of "Like", and no downvoting.
- Every rejection comes with one sentence of reasoning. Newcomers get help, not a telling-off.
- No power by points: badges only for milestones and for helping, no ranking as the front page, no daily streaks.
- The house rules apply in the forum as in the program. Other people's texts, images and music have no place here.
- Sign-in with e-mail address and password. Two-factor sign-in (a second code from your phone) is offered to everyone and required for admins. No sign-in through Google or other corporations.
Groups are the heart
A group is a place for people who share something: a university, a club, a technique, a skill. Groups can be public or closed. Every group gets its own number showing what its computers did today, and it can announce meetings, from a regulars' table to a hackathon. We build this together with the forum; today the groups do not exist yet.
Mistake of the week
Members collect in the program what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others answered wrongly. The list is open, anyone can read it. It is our yardstick: these cases show whether KIplatz is getting better.
Building in the workshop
If you can program, the workshop holds the source code, open tasks and the community's skills in the SKILL.md format. A skill is a text file with rules that KIplatz follows; you can write your own and adopt those of others. The interface for your own programs runs on your computer at 127.0.0.1:8470. The workshop opens after the forum; if you want to start earlier, write to support@kiplatz.at.
Checked on 21 September 2026: leaderboard, mistake of the week, reporting, skills and the interface exist in the program (build 2026-09-20g). Forum, account, groups and workshop are being set up and not reachable yet.
