KIplatz needs people, not companies. Six tasks where you make a difference right away, each with a clear first step. One hour a week is enough to start, and afterwards your name is on the page Who builds.
Windows tester
You get the program, start it on your PC and write down what runs differently than expected: a window that sticks, a sentence nobody understands, an update that takes too long.
First step: get the program, ask one question, write one report in Build. From that moment your device also helps with the computing.
Translator into English
The website exists in German and English, the wiki so far in German. You translate one chapter the way you would explain it to a friend, without jargon.
How to start: pick a chapter, submit the text as a report in Build. We put it in and name you as the translator.
Wiki author
The wiki explains in 12 chapters how KIplatz works. You find a passage that is too short or too technical for you and rewrite it so that your neighbour understands it.
To begin: read a chapter, send the new paragraph as an idea in Build. Every change gets an answer with a name.
Skill builder
A skill is a text file with rules that KIplatz follows for one task: writing letters, converting recipes, summarising club minutes. You write it in the program, in everyday language, in ten minutes.
First step: create the skill in the program, try it in a conversation, share it as a ZIP in Talk. The first one in the community's collection can be yours.
Checker for the mistake of the week
What the big providers' AI answered wrongly, we collect as the mistake of the week. You ask KIplatz the same question and write down what was better or different, with the sources under the answer.
To begin: submit one case in Talk. That is how we measure whether KIplatz gets better.
Finding sources
The shared knowledge grows with texts under a clear licence: manuals, legal texts, club documents, municipal information. You know one field and which texts there are reliable.
How to start: bring in a source with address and licence as an idea in Build. The community's devices prepare it, and you watch it grow in the statistics.
